Lewes is situated 45 miles due South of London, and about 8 miles from Brighton and the South Coast, at the junction of the A27 and the A26. From the M25 it is usually quicker to take the M23/A23 from Junction 7, and turn off left on to the A27 at the outskirts of Brighton., and follow the dual carriageway to Lewes.
By Car: As there is no access to the Club from the A27 (Lewes By-pass), from Eastbourne or Brighton, so enter Lewes from the Kingston Roundabout at the western (Brighton) end of Lewes by-pass. After half a mile, turn right at Lewes Prison Crossroads, (ignore the 'Access only' for HGV's and coaches) and go down the steep hill and up to the Swan Pub, then right at the mini-roundabout. Club is 200 yards on the left.
From Chailey, fork right at the entrance to Lewes, up the hill, and go past the Hospital and straight across at the Prison crossroads. Then as above.
From Uckfield, turn right just before the Tunnel, go over the river, turn left past the Bus Station and right again into Lewes High Street. Follow this along to the Prison Crossroads, then as above.
By Bus from Brighton: Alight at the Prison crossroads, down the hill and then as above. From the Bus Station, Turn right, across the lights into Friars Walk, along to Lansdowne Place. Turn Left at the 'Lansdowne Arms' pub, along to the Railway station. Just past the Station, turn right at the roundabout, into Southover High Street. Follow this along to the 'Swan' Pub and as above.
By Rail turn left ouside the Station, turn right at the roundabout, into Southover High Street. Follow this along to the 'Swan' Pub and as above.
